The Healthy Start initiative was created based on the recognition that biological, environmental, economic, social, and psychosocial factors influence pregnancy and child health outcomes. Continuous identification and assessment of these factors is needed to effectively understand and address their impact on our community’s pregnant women and young children.
On November 16, a needs assessment was presented as a way of informing the community on current trends, statistics, information and overall needs.
A digital version of this presentation and the assessment will be available on this page until November 30.
During this time, we ask that if you have any input, questions or concerns to please fill out the feedback form on this page. We will use your feedback to evaluate our role in the community as well as guide our upcoming programs and initiatives.
