C-sections often have increased health risks to mom and baby, but they are not all bad. C-sections are lifesaving surgeries that are often performed to prevent harm to the mom or the baby.
However – like any surgery – your body needs time to heal and recover. Avoid lifting objects and get plenty of rest because it takes about six weeks to recover from a C-section. But always keep in mind that each person’s recovery timeline will be different!
