On February 11, we were proud to host our 2021 Angel Awards & Benefit in support of local women, babies, and families. Staff, sponsors, and attendees gathered virtually to recognize our community partners and celebrate an incredible 30 years of Healthy Start! We can’t think of a better way to ring in our 30th birthday and would like to start by saying thank you to those who helped make this event such a success.
In conjunction with the Angel Awards, we held an online silent auction lasting two weeks. Participants were able to bid on a variety of custom items that our supporters and friends generously donated. Items ranged from hand-crafted jewelry to original art pieces to Valentine’s Day gift baskets. Overall, participants were able to bid on nearly 100 donated items.
The Angel Awards celebration was an evening filled with community and recognition for those that have supported our mission over the last 30 years. During the event, attendees had the opportunity to learn a little more about Healthy Start history and hear from our 2021 Angel Award Honorees, Dr. Andrea Friall and Jack Levine.
Along with celebrating, attendees got an inside look at our local impact. One of our clients graciously shared her journey with Healthy Start, recapping her experience with her bereavement counselor and the bond they built. Hearing stories like these bring our efforts over the years to life, and we could not feel more grateful. Our goal has always been, and will always be, to serve those in need by guiding them down the path to a healthy start.
