A VBAC refers to the vaginal birth after a Cesarean delivery (C-section). In the past, pregnant women who had a C-section would automatically be advised to have another. However, recent research has shown that a VBAC might be the safest option!
For most moms, vaginal births result in shorter hospital stays, lower infection rates, and quicker recovery times. So if you’re pregnant and have previously had a C-section, please discuss the VBAC option with your healthcare provider!
