Capital Area Healthy Start Coalition will host an Open House and Community Room Dedication on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at its new location on Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee. The free, public event will mark the organization’s expanded space and continued commitment to improving maternal and infant health outcomes throughout the Big Bend region. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the facility, learn about CAHSC’s programs and impact, and attend a Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony.
A central feature of the event will be the dedication of the Community Room in honor of Ann Graham Davis, whose leadership and advocacy were pivotal to the founding and growth of CAHSC. Recognized as a passionate champion for mothers, babies, and families, Davis helped establish a collaborative, community-centered approach that has benefited countless families. The newly dedicated space will stand as a tribute to her legacy and serve as a hub for education, connection, and support.
CAHSC Executive Director, Chris Szorcsik, described the open house as both a celebration of progress and a recognition of the leaders who shaped the organization’s success. Community members, families, partners, elected officials, media, and potential sponsors are encouraged to attend, with sponsorship support welcomed to help keep the event accessible while advancing CAHSC’s mission.
